atmosphère digne des simple minds et des human league grand sans être grandiloquant beaucoup de maturité dans cet album son irréprochable un son rock travaillé et recherché comme savait le faire les rush( superbe 2112) un autre groupe rock canadien d'ailleurs

The Silence Industry me recuerda el sonido Dark de final de la decada de 70's y principios de los 80's; cuando compartía con el Punk muchas afinidades como Joy Division, Siouxie & The Banshees, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy... etc. Todo eso antes del advenimiento del Gótico. En el fondo, como su propio nombre lo indica, lo industrial predomina sobre todo en la batería. Un poco de tiempo para descubrirlos vale la pena.

Nice ideas, riffs and composition, butchered by total lack of punch and cellar-like voice recording (intentional or not...).

I love the philosophy Of playing for self expression and not worried about becoming famous etc . And because of that I give this LP a few extra credits. My only complaint about this LP is the recording quality of some of the tracks . (Some of the background vocals are almost non-existent) But since I am a huge fan of shoegaze and dreampop,along with the washed out vocals that accompanies many of those genres tracks ,I have no problem overlooking Any recording problems that may have occurred. I can only begin to imagine what it's like to put music like this together and then record it and keep everything perfect without Big Money there to help. The first song is awesome. It made me want to coin a new genre name . progressive Shoe-Goth . The blending of styles worked really well. Some of the guitar work reminded me of some of the stuff done by the Cult ( Not sure why But that popped into mind really quick ) I love this whole LP .Everything about this LP with the minor quality drawback , Works very well for me personally . Keep up the very good work . P.S. Maybe sometime in the future, you would consider a female lead singer for a track or two . The qualities of a female voice would be extremely interesting to hear on the tracks presented here.
