'Galerna Sui Generis', is a 21st Century-Technological Masterpiece with its roots anchored firmly in Impressionistic Orchestral Classical Music and Opera. The album is also classified as New Age. Synthesizers voice most orchestral instrument sounds although piano and percussion may be acoustic. It is hard to know for certain and ultimately it is irrelevant as the music is superbly rendered and performed. Track #1. "Sur Generis Parte 1', Crystalline strings(Harp) accompany a lovely Soprano Aria which in turn segue ways into a brief but full choral backup and Orchestral style percussion. The overall effect is remarkably similar to the fictional Alien opera singer in the movie- 'The Fifth Element'. Track #8. "Altavismos De La Naturaleza', Synth Strings, Percussion and Chant-like Choir(male and female) give this track a fusion of modern style with traditional structure. A futuristic fanfare brings the selection to a spectacular conclusion. Track #6. 'Seleccion Natural', Is the most contemporary of the examples given. It starts with a "computer driven" Techno sound which is rapid, dynamic and unexpected. In fact so futuristic is its execution that Moog Synthesizers appear ancient in comparison. The entire album contains 9 such diverse tracks. Prepare to be thrilled and transported to another Realm.
