..played and the music got you. Starts satirically screeching and this is the way they phrase and howl and regg' and jam and play and hack and jazz and roll. Well then, what is it?? Is it Jazz?? Is it Reggae?? Is it Pop? Is it Rock? Is it Folk?? Funk? It is the known old bastard called M U S I C. It is one of the albums - and bands - that makes it hard to add words to it, for the music says them all. It's all in it, nothing forgotten. Only me forgot to write a review, when I found this. (I do not under- stand that just one (1) review is aimed at this... maybe everyone forgot.. :-)))

Muy bueno, ya desde los tìtulos es muy divertido y atractivo, de muy alto nivel, todo suena de lujo, los saxos jazzeros son una pasada, la baterìa tambièn, y las guitarras y bajo tambièn se lucen. ``Apocalypsis`` es de mis favoritas, por el estilo, voz, esos sonidos tan particulares hacia el final y el saxo siempre excelente. ``Dr. Camaleonizador`` tambièn es genial, me encantò el bajo, organo, y el cambio a màs ska. ``La Màquina`` es otra de mis favoritas, enèrgico y envolvente funky, y divertido con los cambios, muy bien trabajado, ``La Satira`` es super sabroso, y otra vez el saxo me fascina. ``Rufianes`` es otra joya con esos strings en el principio, la percusiòn luego esta muy buena. Y ``Sr. Bola de Fuego`` es otra que me encantò, muy cool.

Ist es Jazz? Ist es Funk? Oder ist es Reggae? Was die Spanier von Pasión Sintética auf ihrem aktuellen Album "Rufianes" servieren, ist all das. Und zwar in äußerst tanzbarer und sommerlicher Art und Weise. Wenn es in der Welt ein wenig gerechter zugegangen wäre und statt des Rock'n'Roll auch immer mal wieder aktuelle Jazznummern ihren Platz in den Hitparaden eigenommen hätten, wäre diese Musik heute für einen Platz in den Charts gut. Denn das bei Jamendo veröffentlichte zweite Album "Rufianes" des Madrider Sextetts Pasion Sintetica hat vor allem eines: Jede Menge Grooves aus den Regionen zwischen Karibik, Lateinamerika und den Soulclubs der schmutzigeren Art. Die Musik geht sofort in die Beine und versetzt einen selbst am Rechner unwillkürlich in rhythmische Schwingungen. Doch dabei bleibt es nicht - und das macht die Scheibe zu einer der besten Neuentdeckungen im Bereich der freien Musikszene seit etlichen Monaten: Die Musik ist nicht einfach nur großartige Tanzmusik, sondern bietet auch dem Kopf noch eine Menge Vergnügen - man folge nur den wild drauflos jagenden Saxopholinien: Das ist Jazz, wie er so schräg selbst im Mojo-Club selten zu hören sein dürfte. Aber genau dorthin gehört die Musik von Pasion Sintetica eindeutig. Eine großartige Neuentdeckung für mich auf jeden Fall.
