Adam Castillo is a very creative composer. I'm sure when he creates his work that deep in his mind he has a picture of a certain type of person as the typical listening recipient of the finished album. I suspect that person would be far removed from the likes of myself. I would expect them to be, at most, half my age if not only a third. Not only would they not be old, they wouldn't be boring either! I enjoy listening to a wide spectrum of music and can appreciate music that I may not all together like or fully enjoy. One prejudice I do have, and I accept it is my failing, is a dislike of "concept" albums. I like the music itself to do the talking and do not like to find myself being channeled in a specific direction because a composer tells me that way is what inspired him or her and so that is the direction my thinking should follow. Having overcome the hurdles of being too old and the owner of a concept hatred, what is left for me to review. Lets be clear, this album is well made and put together. The creation and production are both slick. The playing and performance are both top-notch. Even the idea and its handling is well done. All in all it is a very satisfying and sharply crafted work. I appreciate all the effort, and I'm sure there was a lot, that went into making it. I can't honestly say I enjoyed it all but that again is down to me and I'm too old to change now. I fully appreciate and acknowledge his creative talents, it's just a shame much of it is wasted on old farts like me. Adam is the future and long may he reign on his musical throne. Lorsque l'on part vers Neptune le Dieu de la Mer avec Adam, on embarque sur un aéronef qui se meut par le flux et le reflux des vagues d'une eau invisible qui se trouve dans le cosmos. On se sent transporté avec toujours le contact avec la terre ce qui évite de se sentir perdu dans un trou noir, mais au contraire attaché à notre mère nourricière. Que dire de plus sinon que seul l'écoute nous permettra d'atteindre Neptune et de retourner sur la Terre fort d'une expérience sans pareille.

A well produced, spacy album done with a light touch. I can see this soundtracking a documentary or film very easily. Adam has avoided the trap of "too many effects", and given us some delightful, restful and trancy tracks. I look forward to hearing more of his work. The cover is nicely done, and fits the music and the theme. Good luck, you deserve it for the work and thought you have so obviously invested here.

En ce qui me concerne j'aime tout l'album, mais mon morceau préféré est "Dark and cold inside heart", un incroyable piano dont les notes inattendues forment une mélodie envoûtante. "165 Earth years" aussi est hypnotique, avec ses étranges voix qui semblent remonter le temps...Autant de réalité que de fantastique semble-t-il dans cet album, car Neptune met réellement 165 années terrestres pour faire le tour du Soleil, et elle est réellement "Dark and cold." Autant de recherche que d'imagination créatrice, bravo Adam....

Très bel album bravo ! , il y a des ambiances terriblement efficaces et bien amenées. J'aime l'utilisation des sons stéréo et des effets spéciaux. Very nice album full of nice ambiances and good sounds.

Often I listen to ambient radios like Groove Salad or Digitally Imported... well, there is no differnet between "sold" and "official" ambient music and this album. Beautiful melodies, psychedelic atmospheres and really a professional production. Good work, guys!!!
