I have been following your music since "Fingertips". I think this album shows some clear development, as you are gaining confidence in the instrument and in your capacities as a good composer. I love your simple, sad approach to the music. However, there is still a lot to develop. The album gets too short at just 16 minutes. The sound is still the biggest problem with your work, unless your intention is to keep your sound distorted and buzzy, but in this case you have still some path to walk to reach the mastery of lets say Library Tapes, forestflies or similar artists. This is a great problem that avoids fully enjoying your work in my opinion. The clearest example is in my fave track, "Last Day of a Postman", there you have some really beautiful melodies and passages, but the terrible hiss and noise coming from a bad recording/mixing doesn't allow me to fully enjoy it. All tracks suffer more or less from this bad recording issue. Some parts may also benefit from a softer playing technique, like on "Child with a Broken Violin". Anyway, I can see some huge development in your confidence and compositional skills, congratulations on this new beautiful record!

Mit denWorten: „An die letzte Sache, an die ich mich erinnere“ eröffnet der Künstler seine Kurzerklärung zum Werk Wunderbar traurig klingende (das passt leider/zum Glück zusammen) Piano-Arrangements – mit fernöstlichem stilistischen Touch Ich weiß leider nicht, wie man die Art des Klavierspiels nennt, (wenn es denn dafür überhaupt einen Namen gibt), bei dem diese ganz bsonderen Pausen gemacht werden und schräge Töne enthalten sind, die nicht schräg klingen – wenn jemand versteht, was ich meine :-) voller Bescheidenheit gespielt - mit Gefühl angefüllte Klaviermelodien – so wunderbar schwermütig und leicht zugleich … das geht durch und durch …

Un album dans la lignée des précédents, mis à part la piste 5 (plus électronique). La magie opère toujours, on est toujours porté par ces bulles. J'aime bien le travaille que tu as fait sur le son (1, 2 et 5). J'ai beau chercher, je ne trouve guère d'influences notables. Tout cela m'apparait plutôt comme des scènes, des tableaux qui cherchent à traduire une émotion, une atmosphère à un moment et vous invitent à les partager. En tout cas, moi, je trouve cela très calme, détendant. C'est simple, limpide. On prend, on voyage et tant pis s'il faut revenir la balade était superbe. Alors bravo, merci et ... au prochain album ! D.C. PS : -1 pour certaines prises de sons : un peu sourd parfois, ou encore bruits parasites (des pas, pédale du piano)

l'on pourrait se mettre à raconter des nouvelles , des histoires . En 2 mots : the drowned and the melody (oui ej sais ça fait 5 ) est celle que je préfère .
