I can easily picture a huge crowd going crazy, singing, shouting and jumping with the arms up in the air, in front of a stage as a direct reaction to the stimulation that this highly appealing song, would produce in a live performance.... because despite being alone in the quietness of my place this moment, that's what I feel like doing... lalalalalalalaaaa...

Unfortunately, A Common Tale is a generic post-emo punk-pop rock band song of the last 10 years. Nothing about this song is new or exciting. It's just more of the same. Didn't 15 other bands already write this song. The vocals are the same wobbly semi-melodic talk sing. I'd be the next song release will be an emotional break up song in the vein on hey there Delilah. Something new, guys... try something new.

A Common tale radio star is a brit-pop oriented early 80´s reminescence song with a stylish lo-fi-guitar-band-sound. The rhythm section somehow isn´t always on a good ´timing´, which is mostly the drummer´s responsibility..., the song is melodic and catchy, the "lalala"-chorus is surprising and just brings a smile on your face. With the right production and work on the drumming this could be heard on every hip radio...
