Well arranged old-school rock'n'roll. The 'retro' in the band's name is obviously program. The whole LP is nicely recorded and makes a very professional impression. All thumbs up for this album - I enjoy it, especially now that spring is coming.

These guys are really one of the most fresh and powerful act i've had the pleasure to listen to in months. Moving from the well learned lesson of the 70's bluesy roots, they successfully incorporate the upbeat brit style à la Franz Ferdinand, The Rakes etc. The result is stunning! The tight and thunderous ryhthm section provide a solid foundation for the flourishes of the lead gtr (so effective in giving to every song both melodic ideas and rhythmic push, something between Doug Martsch and The Edge) and of the main vox (crystal clear, shiny, powerful, but even warm and smooth when needed, like in the Floyd inspired ballad Silent Prison). Extremely nice ep, pro recorded and produced, as it deserves. Strongly recommended.

Well, here´s a fresh and airily playing old-school-rock-band. Great entertainment. Great sound quality. Very pro. Good vox, powerful riffs and a solid rhythm build the fundament of these songs. Regretably I must say that I´m not so hot with the leadgit. Sounds good but his technique is a bit too "homespun", imo. #4 sounds a lil "Floyd-ish". Which isn´t a bad thing. My fav is #5. All in all I´m sure , you guys will find a lot of friends here with your music. U . L . I .

Eigentlich steht schon alles in der gelungenen Beschreibung der Band. Ich bezeichne das allerdings weniger als Blues und Rock'n'Roll. Ich vermute, dass Fans von Classic Rock hier auf ihre Kosten kommen. Die Songs sind sehr eingängig, mir etwas zu poppig und glatt. Ich weiß aber schon direkt jemanden, dem ich es empfehle. Der Drummer mag anscheinend Offbeats. Silent Prison fällt als Ballade aus der Reihe und ist langsamer. Handwerklich ist das Album gut gemacht. Alle beherrschen ihre Instrumente, die Qualität ist gut. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass RETROSOUND hier noch bekannter werden.

If someone asked me.. would you go, and actually pay good money....to go see... any of the bands... you hear on Jamendo! My answer would be... You Bet... I Sure Would!.. As this is one band!...I would be queuing up, for days ahead...just to get a ticket to see them..As I know... for a fact, going by what, I am hearing now.. they sure are excellent, as a live band..On and off line.. They are fun, interesting, entertaining, fantastic and upbeat, charismatic,heartfelt and sincere...A great kick ass roll and rock band..
