Voici quelque chose de très original et, en même temps, c'est une synthèse de différentes tendances musicales (cfr tags). Un son professionnel, un investissement sans retenue, de l'audace... En résumé, une démarche artistique aboutie et un exemple de ce que le libre peut offrir de mieux. Merci pour le partage !

Along some part of our lives, we create ideals and notions of beauty in our minds, on the account of external reasons more often than by our own mote and will. One of the major examples is that (more or less a generalized fact) we all, and I'm talking under a man's perspective, imagine we are going to marry a specific kind of woman because we think it's our ideal and then go out madly falling in love with one that just don't matches at all with our primary notions and expectations in anyway whatsoever. I don't have much knowledge musically speaking (though in times like this I wish I had) but, I have some preferences which in some cases can be faced as ideals that orient in someway my initial choices... and curiosity. Of course that the general music liking and some years of listening already, proved me that sometimes an open mind and some insistence brings a lot more satisfaction, than stick to our initial impressions and general notions... and keeps us moving forward. So, why do I like this album?... if it's not a style (or combination), that I would point as a first choice. Perhaps because it's immensely heterogeneous at the level of it's influences and shows some exquisiteness, delivered with a powerful and quite perfect sound. Maybe it's because of the clever, insinuating and almost melodic at times, vocals. Maybe it's all of that, perhaps it's even more... or absolutely none. All I know and matters, is that I looove it... and just the way it is, so... let's have da jive... then.

Хорошая, зрелая работа. Автор растёт от альбома к альбому, не боится выходить за рамки определённой стилистики, ищет "свой" звук. Это ценно. Моледец!

Catherine expérimente un nouveau registre qui plonge ses racines dans le jazz des grandes chanteuses:Ella Fitzgerald,Diana Krall...mais avec une totale modernité! Des ambiances parfois pop,acidjazz,voire trip-hop; elle peut tout faire avec ce fabuleux instrument qu'est sa voix! Merci pour ce trés bel album et merci à Cire pour la reco....

Frau Corelli ist eines nicht: Einfach. Aber sie ist sicherlich eines: Musikalisch hoch begabt! Dass ich bei ihren Alben immer sofort begeistert gewesen wäre, kann ich nicht sagen. Oft zu Beginn zu sperrig machten es mir andere Alben leichter. Dieses Album hier ist geradezu ein "Pop"-Album. Für mich hört es sich teilweise an, als würde sie die klassische Jazz-Ballade a la Ella Fitzgerald et al in die Neuzeit übersetzen. Die ersten Stücke waren noch eine Herausforderung, aber nachdem ich mich eingehört hatte ... nix für die Cocktailparty, aber um Ohr und Hirn anzuregen!

This made me think of a 50 or 60s dinner in some...mid state, American some town.. somewhere out west...And the... clinking and clattering... of the hum drum of some sort of McDonald's style cafe... of that generation and time...is busy in motion..and spoons and plates and children.. crying and laughing asking for food..and also shouting out loud..I do not like that.. yuck....And people chattering and talking out loud.. and eating burgers and fries...And drink coca cola.. them the jukebox..is suddenly turned on.. by some young hip cool...guy of these times.. he picks.....this incredible track and album ... By Catherine Corilli... And the mood is set..emotive..sensual..downtempo...day dreamy....drool worthy...delightful...infectious and soul filled..acid-jazzy,instrumental,piano,blues.relaxing and calming...graceful and meditative...classy,dance music. And the place..... suddenly goes quiet and the noise levels ... has all gone.. as everyone is drawn to the sounds of Catherine's voice and exceptional uplifting. spiritual and wholesome...meaningful joyous music and words...that are like great movie pictures inside your minds eye.......and the children drift of into a wonderful lullaby of a wicked sleep..and the other lot of older youngest get up and dance..laughing and hold hands...and enjoy themselves...and the older folk.. bask inside her voice..Cuddling and sitting arm in arm.. holding each other..As they listen to her sing..Out Loud...Projecting such determination..faith and realise of energy...showmanship and god gifted artistic-al ability to shock and amaze and blow everyone's minds and hearts...And the young hip cool kids..of that day and generation...Ask the manager to turn the volume up...and flick their brillcream hair styles back..and chill to the pure delights and auras of perfection...reflection..talented and mind blownily superb class act by the one and only one Catherine Corelli... as they get ready to bike it up with the leathers on their motor bikes.. a mixtures of styles..that are loud..proud and massively contagious..and leaves you needing and wanting more.. as You just can not get enough... Catherine has a beauty and procession of creativity that stands out a mile..and leaves you basking inside all. as she swoons,flips and changes.. tones, melodies and emotions in an instant and keeps you hooked from start till end..no matter which type of musical score or style she is doing..she does it with such flare. ability and detailed craftsmanship..That is stunning and articulate...and professional...she is like a diva..that goes beyond just being a plain old diva.. she keeps reaching and leaping and being more and more adventures in whatever she puts her heart and mind to.. with spectacularly and extraordinary affects and emotions she has on her music and fans that love her amazing appeal and ability she has..that she shares with us all. no matter who..what...or where...in this world..I truly can never fault any single one of Catherine's albums or tracks.. are she gives more than 100 percent into each and everything she puts her voice and heart into.. Bravo... like this travels from pop,electronic to even moments of classical..even slight blockbuster movie type scores..with vocals inside them..Hard to believe but you will by the time you check her out..

its more than a pop. its had a jazzy sound on bass and drum beat. vocal is very awesome dynamic matching very well with music. nice rhodes or electric piano sound with great chorus and flange like effect make a great melody and atmosphere for the music. I like every song, but my most favorite is a "www-ever" cause the vocal on reff section and great electric piano melody. And "Gingeria" cause its great drum sound and guitar melody and downtempo vocal that very great to listened when on relax or sad feeling. I like this album very much. Thanks a lot!
