Ich bin in diesem Genre nich so richtig zu Hause, aber was ich höre, ist ein Album, das ausgewogen, stimmig und top produziert ans Ohr dringt. Durchweg radiotauglich und durchhörbar. U.L.I.

da sitze ich, höre und freue mich wie schön Musik sein kann! Die Band spielt so entspannt auf höchstem Niveau auf, dass ich's kaum glauben kann. Toller Gesang, tolle Songs,super Produktion. Geil!!!

Là, c’est du tout bon, du pop rock de bonne qualité, même d’assez bonne facture , « Nodreams » est une bonne surprise....

There was just something... about his slight ,harsh and rough voice..that was intimate and sweet and loving..and made me feel, comfortable and warm..relaxing and chilled... inside his intimate and really down to earth voice.. that filled me..with love..compassion and understandment and beauty.....from a real down to earth singer..his voice projected...calm..tranquility and entertainment that did not make me feel in a hurry or even to stop listening to him sing... And the music was tender..touching and sweet as well. And everything was encapulated and loving..and put me into a bliss filled state of grace and love... Thank you guys for giving me such joy and happiness...just sitting inside your voice and music and lyrics..that gave me more..than I will ever say to you or anyone....blushes..Thankyou Nodreams!!

Ich kann mich hier nur in volle Gänze meinen Vorrednern anschliessen. Herrlich unkompliziert und klasse gemacht!

Manchmal fällt es schwer, bei einem Album die gewisse notwendige Objektivität des Kritikers einzuhalten. "Animal Soul" jedenfalls hat schon beim ersten Hören eine solche Ohrwurmqualität, dass man sich einfach treiben lassen möchte. Die elf Songs der uruguayischen Truppe sind jeder für sich und auch am Stück äußerst einschmeichelnde Popsongs, die so richtig zu einem lauen Sommerabend passen. Musikalisch ist das Album irgendwo zwischen leichtem Americana, Folkpop und der Sonne der amerikanischen Westküste einzuordnen. (Selbst die Band selbst weiß nicht so ganz, wie sie ihren Stil beschreiben soll.) Höhepunkt ist der Titelsong, der mit leichten elektronischen Effekten die akustischen Instrumente kontrastiert und der hier rauchigen Stimme des Sängers dem Lied seinen eigentlichen Kinderzimmer-Charme zurechtrückt. Dieser Song ist eindeutig einer der Sommerhits bislang!

This album contained such uplifting pop music with a pretty good male vocalist . .. I found it so endearing right from the first sound . . . my head started bobbing and my feet tapping and my heart felt so happy . . . The voice was a little rough but had good range and was very appealing over all . . . the guitar music was excellent and played well with the singer . . . the drums and the chorus all filled in well . .. like puzzle pieces matching .. . The title song, "Animal Soul" was so charming and sweet . . . it made me wish the singer was singing about me . . . and the interlude for the guitar and other instruments was really excellent . . . it was one of those songs I feel right in my heart . . . its hard to describe that feeling . .. because it is a spiritual/physical emotional moment . . . in my poor attempt at a description I say its like bubbles are flying up . . . and it literally makes me feel like I have wings . . . I felt that with all these songs . . . I feel the emotion . . but I also feel something deeper than that . . with good music that touches me . . . maybe a purist might say these songs aren't good for some technical reason . . . but its me I am talking about and these musicians were able to transmit a positive array of emotions and feelings to this listener . . . that feeling is mine, and I cherish those moments when I get them because I feel whole and healthy and happy . . . and I only wish that everyone could feel that way . . . - - - - - That's how this music on this album made me feel . . . consistently . . . - - - - -
