"Metissage", -2011- (Mescolanze) è un invito alla coesistenza, alle sonorità differenti, alla graduale ricerca verso suoni che ci appartengono e che necessariamente dobbiamo condividere. Ho uitlizzato strumenti come Oud arabo, bouzouki, Saz baglama,e chitarre, provenienti ed utilizzati nelle zone a Sud del mediterraneo, Il brano "Overture" è di Jorgestrada-Ubaldini-Otoshi, qui nella sua versione iniziale, quando ho inseririto i miei strumenti. I brani "Saltimbanco". "Bicicletta" e "Pioggia" sono stati scelti come colonna sonora del film "Tabernacolo". In questi brani al piano è Paolo Pavan. Ringrazio Jorgestrada, per avermi concesso la possibilita' di inserire "Overture". Copertine di mia figlia: Greta Ubaldini!!

Un sacré métissage de différents genres musicaux de par le monde et un très beau voyage sans frontières, ni barrières.
Quand la musique se fait message de paix et d'amour, se veut universelle pour l'unité et la fraternité de tous les peuples.

Here we have on show an innovative Ethno Jazz artist. The album "Metissage" contains passionate multiculturally-flavored jazz-fusion with elaborately well polished poignant melodies.The whole set is entertaining and is performed with great audacious artistry. Mediterranean Jazz never sounded better.Recommended.

What I feel while listening to all the beauty that exhales from this album, is that, there's undeniably a soul in it... that there are people and places behind and beyond all the sounds, which more than just pleasing our ears, exert a strong seductive action over some of our senses. There's also a sense of adventure and mystery, a kind of prodding that keep on making us want to go to places by instilling a strange notion of familiarity, even if we don't know exactly where those places are. A strong bond within the universal power of music.

Veramente un bell'album, che deve infondere coraggio nel cercare di trovare la propria strada. Basta agli scimmiottamenti vari, ma cercate e sostenete la vostra idea. Metissage mostra un patrimonio dimenticato e da rivalutare. L'Italia è al centro del Mediterraneo, .... ascoltiamone i suoni, ... e lasciate scorrere il sangue e le dita! Grazie!
