Superb intro, lasting minutes, building a great tension, deep and overwhelmingly calming or calmly overwhelming.
Developing towards a hypnotizing spell and pounding deeply into complete relaxation.superb composition integrating eastern accents into a darkish yet lightning mood.
Next to something completely different, a modern classic intro towards the familiar voices from Ris and Ivan, embedded in what comes in mind as modern gentle giant sounds.
Voices are greatly integrated. Great electronic rhythmpiece in the midst, followed by a jazzy excursion.
This rich track is a kaleidoscope of styles. Be glad to have two such great tracks in one offer, though both could've deserved being released as standout single works. A very generous offer. A superb release.
Well this is a very special release... Over 150 minutes with amazing radio-play pieces. Oh how nice were the days you could hear great stories, and let yer imagination fill in the images. Now here we have darker sides of our minds spinning round, leading to nightmarish trips to other worlds, dreams , caves, claustrophobic, exploring so many sides of our brains that psychiatrist have ages to examine. How glad I am to understand German language, how well written but especially spoken is this prose. The voice is magnificent and convincing. Take this album in parts and let you bring in hidden states, or maybe towards a German language course. Very surprised and honored being a part in some of the tracks, and amazed by the outcome. How words and sounds and music can be combined to such great entities... now its waiting till some moviemaker adds some images and makes fantastic clips with this stuff... a new imaginarium is created...
A very fine and welcom new release from I think the best pianoplayer here on Jamendo. Starting with 2 beautiful moody pieces, with Lena's superb touch. Those keys must be smiling..... Then comes a nice more experimental Collapse as a great intro to really a brilliant counterpoint, moving towards every corner of musical joy, feeling, expectation and fullfillment , again greatly produced by doc, who must be so happy being surrounded by these heavenly sounds. A first class album....
Brilliantly screwed lounging nightclub tracks, with a fresh experimental approach. Looking forward to the multilingual releases, but already very happy with these. Great in a cabrio too, played loud...
Great album, different styles but a great coherence in intense music. From to powerful opening, via a stunning piece like A Greater Force (one of best ever intermezzo's) we come to a beautiful title track. Know these tracks from t61, but great to hear them on a fine album here. Normally i often have problems with singing, but the voice here is a superb instrument. It rocks, it contemplates, its so... The Color of Space catapults you in pure instrumental beauty again...and down to earth with a nice Event Horizon. A great album , heavily recommended and to be played loud and on repeat. One of the better Jamendo's this year...
A superb start with Moj Dom, great tragic part. as will show on further tracks cvijaxo has a great way of making words sing and sounds speak, his special integration of words and sounds is marvelous and often surprising. The Platforms I know from his fine debut. Homecoming starts with the beautiful voice of Mary, transforming into a superb uptempo melodic piece. Tension is built up in Utvandrarna, a fine intermezzo. And then the voice of Doc, a surprising rarity.... I guess the young doc is behind the screen on the great sleeve, a very fine sound-image. And so is Fear region, a dark scary piece, so in the middle of the night. Huh?? Huh?? nice collage following, what am I doing there, surrounded by such nice people :). Curious about cockroach, was he jumping on yer drums? And did you hit him? Good old Ivan showing up again, embedded in wonderful ambiance. Classic beauty in Airports, a wonderful piece.Concluding with great eastern relaxed atmosphere. Very fine album again, with great variety on moods, styles and to be discovered again and again. Nice work, mate
There's something wrong here... Too much music?? This great album (Tunnel, Child-Labor, in fact nearly all the songs) offers great ambient experimental electronic stuff, is here since 2009, and gets no reviews??? Serious listeners, go ahead and listen to this, even swing on my-dusty-soul twice or trip with 032002, and enjoy this fine album....
Ah, there IS an album.... nice heavy industrial stuff with einstürzende Sunn O))) references. Great mood again, dark, deep. The complaints over the soundquality can be overcome by turning up the volume. For mastering purposes i can recommend Soundforge with the Waves plugins, but I quite like the raw production here.. brains are reset...
I don't review singles, so here's the exception that confirms the rule. This is such a fine drony industrial piece, i hope its collected with the other singles to a great majestic album. A superb track....
Again a brilliant album from Arne. This is a superb example of how text and music work together, cheerful uptempo tracks with dark serious text that condemn the brutality of the superficial inhuman world, where individuals are smashed under "common sense". Brilliant treating of voices in Happy Terror.(a superb title...depicts the whole album). Modern DAF-fy sounds in Totentanz and Du bist schön. Musically following the highly respected german electronic school, Germany should be proud to have a word-artist like Arne , and those poor aliens that lack german language should learn it or get a proper translation of the superb texts in english. Die welt verdient diese Worte und soll sie hören.... A great album....
