Nothing intricate, nice tone, very pleasant to hear. I'm trippin'. Would like to hear more from El Sciubba
The album cover gave me the impression that this could be a highly techno, trance kind of album. Wrong! It is full with so much gentleness and softness. The guitars though are quite on the 'safe' side - too careful. Nice album for a chilling by-the-poolside evening.
So "one-take" kind of recording, accidentals included. I like!
I know a lot of effort and time must have been poured into the making of this album. However the basic elements that makes a good song seems to be missing. The melodies does not tell a story and they are at most time clashing with one another (counter melodies). The solos in some songs are pretty amateurish. Well structured rhythmically and good instrumentation. Keep it going my friend but keep it simpler. Much simpler. People listen to melodies too.
Meditative. Close your eyes and take this trip guys. God bless you, Kenjiakira.
