I have worked for approximately 25 years as a professional musician in different live and studio situations.
For about 10 years I've busied myself intensively with the most different forms of electronic music as well as Drum' n' bass, House, Ambient, Dub and electronic Avantgard. New rhythm- and sound-worlds have opened themselves to me.
The connection of acoustic Drumset and the inexhaustible possibilities of electronic gear are very attractive, demanding and exciting.
My album-projects MIND TRIPS, NEBULOUS, RUFF-STUFF-Edition, LUMINOUS and FROST are the result of the gathered experiences of the last years. With my bands ENKHEYM, COMFORT ZONE and eQUARIUS, the WEIGL & HOFFMANN project and the ambient improvisation project EK-LOUNGE I move on similar grounds.
