Comparisons with Dream Theater and/or John Petrucci are inevitable when you listen to this. However, the music does get diverse with its sound and atmosphere. The album has a charcter of its own. This is one of the very best albums on Jamendo. It takes you on a journey and along the way it heals you.
The 4th song Existential Delirium is something I would want as a soundtrack for a travel documentary. "The Artist, The Sage and the Jester" has a story to tell, even the Goa trance junkies would barter their acids to listen to this.
I personally always love to listen to entire albums. All the same, songs like Lucid and Drempt are awesome as individual songs.
I discovered this one through the "Please Review" tab on the homepage. I am downloading the other two albums by the artist as I type. I realize you are more towards electro(nic)-ambient where as my personal taste lies in accoustic-ambient. Nonetheless it was out of downright curiosity that I chose to listen to your sound.
An ambient album is not a 2-track affair. The objective is to let the listener experience the music. A person will not usually play a particular track off an Ambient CD, the person will most likely play the entire CD again.
I can see where the music wants to go. Focus a bit more on progression in your music and lead it to give a listening experience. I guess this is more of an EP than an album.
I like it... would like to see how the entire album shapes up, especially the accoustic-progression blend(if you choose to put a track on these lines).
I would certainly listen to the entire CD once, when you release it.
Your music reminds me a bit of Coldplay-Travis-Radiohead put together.
I like it. The music feels one. You listen to this band and you know that there is harmony within the band members(at least when they are playing music).
You know the music is good when a person wants to listen to the same song again instead of moving on to the next one in the playlist.
Suggestion: I feel you should put up your videos on Google Video instead of YouTube as it is easier to download(directly as *.avi) from Google Video and it offers better quality.
