"this four track ep from this dublin based experimental two piece opens up with a big explosion of noise for 30 seconds
before lying right back to some truly beautiful and haunting acoustic based sounds, a slowly plucked acoustic guitar
picks out the most minimal of notes while subtle but haunting electronic drones hover around deep in the mix, by the
third track we are in a similar territory to the likes of harold budd meets fennesz as gentle piano creates a kind of
neo classical basis behind which the pair mix scratchy sound effects and monotone drones, the ep finishes off on another
short piece of harsh drone sounds featuring roughly 30 seconds of some kind of underwater sound effect, the two longest
pieces in the middle are just perfect though and would sit rather nicely on labels like type, touch or even expanding
records, a truly excellent piece of modern improvisational work"
