Album description

PRESS:

‘Not only are they an independent band affirming control over their
own music, but they also reveal themselves to be talented artists.
Downliners Sekt defies the contemporary standards of the music industry.
They redefine the way in which their music is categorised. “Electro Noise
for Break beat Initiates.” it striking out on their own to discover new
ground away from preconceived notions of what music should be. They are
going into new territory where they hope others will follow.

The music starkly minimalist in quality carries an aura of dark
melancholy. They are unique enough where comparison or description just
doesn’t cut you’ll have to listen to them for yourselves. Trust me; you’ll
like what you hear’. Radiokrud

‘Downliners Sekt conceived a soundtrack directly inspired by the urban
environment they evolve into.
It is a complex collective exploring the dissonant side of breaks & abstract
electronica. Somewhere to retreat to where the music will stimulate but not
overpower the ears’. Erutufon/nofuture

‘Downliners Sekt are not your ordinary down-tempo trip-hop electronic fare.
There is a masterful use of musical tension and release that keeps you wondering
what will come next’. Free album Galore

‘L.R.A.D (Feat. Evi Vine) is surprisingly well produced. It’s very
much like Unkle, but without the clichés’ Alex Young / milieu

‘Melancholic and minimal electronica at its best, you will certainly listen
in awe. The blending of hip hop, industrial & IDM makes for some rich
soundscapes. This is a group that should be among the heavies right now &
this is what industrial music should have evolved into’. Radio-2019

Dark and disturbing music that sucks you in.

Is it good or is it bad? I don't know, I'm still under its spell...

Beware the Sekt ;-)
