First of all i would like to clear something out that must be generally obvious, the reviews are mostly done for albums that people maybe inpressed by, which is cool, which is totally cool, since we are talking about tags and specific geners of music, if somebody dont care they want be bothered about the reviews of a specific group....

...So for this particular album i only have to say that i am actually more than impressed!!! This is genuine Reggae-Ska sound full of positive vibes and flowing energy! I would dare to comapare them with Sublime and my opinion is that Drunksouls are on their way to offer music equally valuable! Im sure tha Bradley Nowell would have been proud of them!

It is a really enjoyable album alive with sound impact on the type of music under the umbrella of Reggae-Ska! I bet that they would be a great live goup as well!

My one and only request being that they keep up the exceptional work they are into because we fans of this music and tagless music in general need what they give, a lot and they do give a lot!!

To the Drunkensouls.... You have a new fan in America

Loved this album. Makes you feel happy inside. A soundtrack to a perfect sunny Saturday afternoon outside in the fresh air with someone you love.

This really is an amazing album - I had it confused with the legend Bob Marley for a minute when I listened to it.

I'm gonna burn a CD for all my friends! :-)

Good job. This is the best conclusion I had after listenning Drunksouls’ album. The LP begins with catchy postpunk Pain of life, which may be consider as a minor underground hit, and it doesn’t get worse through the Rest of the record. Give me a sign reminds me of the latest RHCP songs, but it’s not an accusation, but rather praise of band’s composition abilities. No more fighting it’s typical euro-reggae, a priori worse than Jamaican original, but song is a good effort. There is a place is similar to the previous song, but it’s got nice up-lifting strings and vocal intro. Barfly sounds quite like uninventive rock music, but it has this cold new wave mood that saves the composition. Dernière cigarette is a good rock drive with a little bit silly lyrics, but rock energy covers this imperfection. Obao is a bit pompatic and theatrical in a bad meaning of this word, and I think that this tune is simply unnecessary.
Generally, it’s an 8. A record very close to excellence, but with few slips while achiving it.
Cover fits the inside, and it looks nice so I would give plus for it.
I would like to see them some summer festiwal if I had a chance.

The first thought that struck me when I played this album for the first time was CLEAN! This is a well composed album, with smooth sounds mixed with a more heavy feel. That little sound effect starting Pain of Life gives a good insight as to what is to follow. A serious album with a perfect happy feel to it.
However, I don't feel that this album is fit for any situation, I tried listening to it in the car but I couldn't finish it, but if I put it on on the stereo or computer in my room while doing something else like cleaning or whatever, it's perfect.
All in all this is a very good album that I can recommend to anyone.

These guys have a really interesting sound and even though i don't speak French i like those tracks too.
"Give me a sign" and "There is a place" are my favorite songs.

Keep going!

P.S: As soon as i start my own label I'll sign you for more than a million(no offense >equalizer< :)

Sympa votre album, j'm beaucoup l'eclectique-électrique, ça fuse, ça fusionne, ça darwinise, ça fait avancer, ça pousse au train!

Le canzoni che preferisco in assoluto sono Pain of life e Give me a sign, sono troppo belle e non mi stanco mai di riascoltarle.
