A nice essence of Chaos, some fine sound construction. L'eveil en 4 actes, a lovely plaintive guitar and synth mixture, almost feels like a siesta. Then bass takes place. Resounding into a pop structure. Next a tribal dirge, with drums and scintillating synthetic flows. It melds into a kind of freeform jazz towards the end, still retaining a fine synthesis of sounds. Bienvenue à Agartha, into the lost world at the centre of the hollow earth. That it sounds bright and optimistic is almost a prerequisite with Shangri-La as its capital, it is the Eden we once we thought we new, of a golden age long gone, but maybe never there anyway, in time or space. Maybe we were never that high to fall from grace. La théorie du tabouret, of this there is a book (though I forget the authors name). Haven't read it, but read about it. A laid back track with the rhythmical flushing sound, if it isn't a good read at least the pages would come in handy.

Le Vide, (the sight?) instantly has an open and spacious feel to it. Perhaps, like Outdoor in the Trashcan's vision of the earth in his album Don't Stop. A lot of that was about the grandiloquence of viewing earth from afar in space. To be honest, I suspect it's better seen from a distance, or does the space dust seem greener from down here?) Finally, this album is wrapped up with where it started, Chaos 2. It is a longer foray into the stochastic muddle we view as that which we cannot comprehend. Lots of room in its structural make-up, then we have form taking shape into an almost militaristic metre. Although, that soon breaks down into a medley of seemingly random noises and movements. Then it reforms for a mellow tune and back into the chaotic realm once more. Et oui, elle continue à tomber, tomber et se retrouver encore et encore. I really like it.
