Musical influences are all over the place with with this release and yet in some strange way Binärpilot manages to give the tracks a feeling of togetherness. His arrangements are as usual a bit on the wild side, and this release features heavy use of vocals, both natural sounding and vocoded. Lyrically wise tracks like "Destroy The Popollution" gives an evil eye towards the mass production of music in the popular culture, while Bend gives you the recipe on how to keep you music underground. He still keeps a retro gameish feel to his music mixed with a side dish of more commercial dance music. All in all a release ment to get you in a good mood and get jiggy with it while at the same time keeping a rather dark vibe. So give it a try. You might like it, or you might not, but at least you'd get to listen to something fresh that hopefully gives you some new musical input.

This excellent EP is one of the most awesome electronic releases to come out of norway, heck even europe, for years. "Bend" and "Cure for Popullution" feature corky yet very sweet vocals. Download and enjoy many times over and over ;)

Thank you so much, you album is excellent !

- Bend : The music is perfect. I prefer the man's voice, there is something I dislike a bit in the the girl's one. I really like the break at 3'48.

- Destroy The Pollution : Really nice, I like the voices

-Markell Fiksen : the 8-bit is so wonderful !!! I like the theme change at 3'02. From 3'30 to the end : perfect.

-Robot Wars : Maybe the one I like the least in the album even it is still a very good track.

I like the cover as well.

My rating : 9 because 10 is for the excellence, I mean your album Defrag.

hearing the vocoded lyrics to Beat is a brilliant start to this little EP; in particular, that heavy sense of rhythm goes on throughout the record, along with a decent use of Atari-style game beeps and old-school electro melody. the only shame is the recurse to 90's-type typical vocals in places - and the fact that the cover art is gonna give anyone from my generation nightmares for years.

to sum - enjoy, but skip straight to Markell Fiksen.

Found "Bend" on Jamendo Radio. The rest of the tracks are just as good and funky!

Now that I have all your torrents, and all on one cd, I'm listening to them and getting so jealous of your set-up, your synths and stuff, nice work, :D

Bend - Fantastic stuff, love the lyrics, and the vocals, and the vocoded vocals, A great song, and you're always teasing for the next part of the song where it does it at its full, which is nice. It makes me smile and nod my head spontaneously so often listening to your music, and especially this one!

Destroy the poppolution - Acidacidacidacidacid! So theres some Roland action going on in there? pretty phat yo, really thick bass, heavy high acid synth, just the way i like it bro, you read my mind, thats the song i needed to hear after the first one. :D

Markell Filson - To be honest, I think, If you can make stuff that sounds like this, with this kind of precision and refinement, do every song like it!

Robot Wars - This is the reason I'm giving this album a 9 and not a 10, and the only reason. That reason being that this song reminds me that I should be listening to Robot Wars. It's like you realised that you could do it in that amount of refinement after the previous song.

If you make more stuff consisting entirely of this quality material, I will come back and change this to a ten one day, :D.

I wish there wasnt so much distance between us, otherwise I'd come round there and have a jam with you, lol.

This is pretty good chiptune-pop! Very nice vocals, trippy synths and cracking beats...
"Bend" is a killer-track, I can't stop listening.

Thanks Binaerpilot & Greetings from Germany!
