I have been listening to Binärpilot's music for quite some time and this EP seems to capture the peak of an era in his musical life. Though being referred to as "the Mad Max of beats" by some Binärpilot first and foremost deliver some sweet melodies with this release. He states his position as a skilled tracker giving homage to the demo scene while at the same time bringing the sound slightly more up to date. Doubtless he's a fan of artists such as Daft Punk, Aphex Twin and Squarepusher as he mixes the references made to these with ones made to the scene. In my opinion it's "Goof" and "Widibf" that's really making this release shine; so much so that i feel the need to say it's to bad it's no more then four tracks long. Well worth a listen and more then a few spins in iTunes.

Wow, amazingly good Chiptune. This album or kinds of these
could definiatly go commercial. But i would strongly advice
to sell over a own label and over the internet.

Nice guys niceeeeeeeeeee music, keep going ;)

I can not even say which one I prefer as every track is incredibly awesome ! I have discovered the 8-bit music with Binärpilot and more precisely this album.

- Goof : A so nice music. I like the rhythm the way you break it at 2'54.

- Sandjora : This music drives me crazy. The voices at the beginning are very good. The music is simply perfect, I like the way you frame the 8-bit. This track must be listen LOUD :D

- Widibf : Awesome as well

- Fuayfsilfm : this time the "first part" is not voices as in Sandjora but drums. I like the little "sub-themes".

Thanks again to make you music downloadable for free. Hope to see you on stage soon !

When the chorus of 'Goof' comes on, I find it impossible not to be happy....amazing

This is a great album, short sweet and catchy. It has a very Daft Punk vibe, like a mix between the "Discovery" and "Human after all" albums
I could imagine this being a big hit on pop radio stations much in the same way as Röyksopp was.

Listen to this album, if nothing else the first track will hook you!
The funk will keep you hooked until the end.

I'm not usually a fan of electronic music, but once in a while I come across some really good stuff. This is one such case. I've listened to the album several times in a row, and I'm sure as hell going to check out the other albums too.

Great stuff, well worth the download.
