Amazing album, really enjoyed it. As others have said Dripping is amazing and I thought Selfish Man was really good too. Great sound, vocals and songs.
Slogan,a new band, going by this demo, that knows how to play, perform, let alone write, excellent, pop, rock, indie, electro music. With great sexy sounding females vocals, that can really sing. With good solid lyrics as well. And good musicians at that as well. An album that is very interesting, different from the normal. and a band to watch out for in the future, with this sort of talent and individuality about them as well.
"Dripping" got me hooked right away. Just love the smooth instruments and that the singing feels more like a instrument than a voice. "Burry my friend" is another favorite of mine.
The album cover has a nice drawing. The cover has too much nothing though, if you know what I mean. On the other hand it's called Démo 1, so that's fine anyway. ;)
Keep up the good work, this can be developed into something really great. I'd like to hear more of your work. :)
Everything about this demo is wonderful. I would rave about the vocals if the instrumentation wasn't so well performed and recorded, and then there's the professional and smooth sounding mix. I almost forgot to mention the melodramatic and mature indie/pop/rock song writing. I love the little quirks in the production (reverse tracking, the IDM/electro percussion as the bridge for 'burry my friend' and many more). I can't wait to hear more.
