What's wrong with people calling to this a piano music....It has nothing to do with piano because no pianos were involved in making of this one. It's all a result of virtual graphic representation. I don't understand the theory behind all this either. Is it because it's too exalted for wretched mortals like me or is it because there isn't any?
This would be perfect as the soundtrack for a horror film where the earth is being invaded by mechanical robots from mars. I can hear the mechanics and the strain of the gears in this piece of technically brilliant but aggressive album.
Very interesting music, extravagant and experimental. I like it.
Not the kind of music I normally would listen to.
However, I give credit to "piano man" for creating a new musical landscape I was not aware of.
It is a landscape of concrete, glass, steel and cold winds - not a place where one would like stay.
A true artist should have the ability to create all sorts of landscapes or moods - may be next time Piano Man will take us to a more pleasent place?
I like the way in which the artist has posed for the photography for his album art. He looks innocent but this album is his crime. He looks as if he ran from the nearest jail, the jail being the music classes. His piano seems to be angry with him and is shouting at him. His piano is hungry and needs some extreme care, might be a musical divorse from the artist. This album seems to me a crude joke to humanity. Album is one of the worst I ever came across or heard. I think even a small baby can play the piano better than he does. He has displayed his ego in his songs which are baseless. They are devoid of the ground beneath his feet. Perhaps, he is jealous of Allison Crowe, who plays superb piano. But whatever objective this man has had while uploading the music, please don't tell us anybody as it would be a rude example to all. He must have earned many euros till now as I can see the number of listens an artist like this have. Simply frustrating to the listeners.
Maybe I don't have a great musical culture, but I hardly can distinguish this from a giant gorilla going in rampage and smashing everything in a piano store through his path.
But there's more to music than that. The piano is a beautiful instrument that can be used to show more than just raw speed and multi-tasking. This only showed mechanical ability and no true artistic talent.
