Album description

"Here, at the beginning of the end..."

...these first words are representative for these release which will be an only-online-album.

The conscious break with conventional "music marketing strategies", going own ways and the return to what distinguished this kind of music for many decades these are the bands intensions. Acting in the underground, winning fans all over the world, just with the music.

Still its hard for some people to find a genre a:m:f would fit into, maybe thats finally the attraction to it?!

After one year full of experiments the band shrunk back to a duo and decided to release a Best-Of Album, which will contain a musical journey through the last three years of a:m:f packed in 12 songs for free-donwload on the band-own homepage.

Secrets is called this conclusion of a musical era and its a thank you to all the fans of the band. To all those that made it possible in 2005 finding a:m:f in numerous internet-platforms regularly in the upper ranks of their Download-charts.

With over 10.000 Downloads just in the last half of 2005 the band was promoted as the Best German Alternative Act in music.download.com.

The Web-Album will come in two versions: Beside the free version therell also be a Deluxe-Edition including the complete artwork and lyrics, all together for a favourable price.

Just you, the fans, will decide if the bands valuable enough to be supported...

"Everythings said?!"

My 1st HIT on FREEDOWNLOAD on jamendo.com

perhaps a little bit Ultravox between the 1st album "Ha Ha Ha" (1977 with John Foxx) & the 3 rd one "Vienna"(1980 with Midge Ure) but harder on the "new dark wave " with nice electronic melodic elements(somtimes remember me to "Wolfsheim")& a vocal remember me of Marilyn Manson.

Self titeld style "Electro rock darkwave gothic pop" is well choosen!

sorry 4 my worse english

Great stuff. This doesn't need a 'genre to fit into'. It just needs something to play it on and a listener.

I found this album after hearing one of their other albums, neo.NøiR. I'm definitely NOT disappointed, this is excellent.

Pretty good album - darkwave fits the bill for the genre. Some of the songs remind me strongly of Beborn Beton. I admittedly haven't listened to the whole thing yet but I was surprised that no one mentioned this. Well worth a listen if you're a fan of darkwave.

This album reminds me of some music that I heard by Clemens Eduard Haipl. The sound is gorgeous, and being a german based artist, perhaps there is some influence there as well. If you like this album, then check out Heirstyle, another darkwave group with a retro edge. You will probably like the music of Self Delusion as well, another nice group.
