Album description

Bright and energetic, B-Beach bounces beautifully. Then, we squiggle into the second track, that retains the 'happy' mood. I quite like Clem's Eyes. The third track just doesn't permeate my grey matter. Like a drastic change in character, sounds like music for a children's programme. Memories of Coldcut come into play with Heart's Vibrations. Free Your Mind is not psychedelic enough, maybe the guitar is too heavy for the required lightness of being. Not bad, just doesn't inculcate my mind's liberty. GR3G goes and lounges for a bit and quite elegantly done. The voices spoil it for me though. It was perfectly OK without that little blast. Mother Earth does not need to worry just yet, though time will tell.

With It's The K, there is a more solid technology to it and it comes over quite strongly. Here the voice works better. Kafeteria smooches into play and assumes all the relevant postures. Marine has a much more interesting structure, the vocals aren't bad, though I think I preferred the instrumentality as it was and is in places just that. Now, Virus, is more like it. Excellent listening for me and my sensibilities. Rain Of Heart is very Coldcut style. Peas in pods, some are sweeter. The points are getting lost as the album progresses. That guitar comes back, but it's too late. Kvaleoun have sealed their fate. Quite like The Man, but at the same time don't appreciate 'the man'. Finally, Watching The Stars, sounds like a Pretonika track. Mixed feelings on this one.
