Album description

Symfonie in C is a project by the Amsterdam based producer Ceebass in collaboration with www.hiphopnet.nl, in which classical masterpieces are mixed with hip-hop. The project is original in that little sampling is used. Instead, most beats are created from scratch to create a symbiosis between the melody, the beats, and the lyrics. There are featurings by Surya, Robian, Per.verz, and Feline.

In this Jamendo release two instrumentals (tracks 7 and 8), which were not part of the original release, are included.

Why doesn't this have more downloads?

My grin reached ear to ear when the hiphop beats cut into Bach. Really interesting idea and very creative. I would have preferred if the orchestra had taken a bigger part while the artist is rapping and I'm baffled as to why it's tagged instrumental but this is a solid effort. Great stuff.
