I have heard electronica/experimental albums before, but Fugly Fix really takes a bold approach and moves into areas that, to my knowledge, have not been really explored. Track 10 Goddamn Clowns (STFU) is a really great example of this action. This does not compare to the boldness of track 4 Digital Sheep, which I found both amusing and exceptionally enjoyable. Track 1 Rocky Mountain Apple Cider is by far one of the most humorous tracks I have heard in a long time. The most humorous track on this album is Track 14 Chant of the Mentally Challenged. This track is absolutely hysterical based on the title and the inaudible (words) chanting/ One's mind is filled with the idea that this pokes fun at the mentally challenged, however in my examination it is poking fun at the listener who interprets it that way (just a thought). My two favourite songs on this album are Larva and Mosquito. The evolutionary process of these two pieces in very interesting and I really look forward to what The Kankles will be offering in the future.

With regards to the cover art: it is funny and clever with an intellectual subtlety that I noted pervades the album as a whole.

but in a good way. its definitely a "genre" that hasnt been done too much. some are songs (some more traditional and some more experimental) and some are just mixed sounds, very experimental. if you were to mix up Negativland, some aspects of The Boredoms and the "Locust Abortion" era of The Butthole Surfers (but with a techie vibe), you would get The Kankles. Thats the best I can describe it. if you like weird sounds like me youll love this album.

It's a unique album, and I like most of the tracks, particularly "Larva" and "Stay Tuned". The sound quality was good, but I noticed that there is a clicking noise at the beginning of most, if not all, of the tracks. Also, a few tracks seem to be cut short, but I doubt these problems are your fault. Keep creating, I want to hear more.
