Album description

Anomalous Material is the first full-length album by JT Bruce. This progressive rock album consists of 16 songs, most of which are instrumental. Lush, dynamic compositions with a wide range of moods, tones, and atmospheres make up the bulk of this work and will appeal to fans of progressive rock and progressive metal alike. The heavily layered and technical guitar work coupled with rhythmically complex drumming works together with carefully orchestrated synthesizer to create a very unique listening expirence.

This is amazing! Very melodic with catchy themes. I love instrumental music because it really displays the talent of the musicians, as I am a musician as well. Keep up the great work!

Just a little question: is there a reference to Marillion in the "The Artist, The Sage, and The Jester" song?

As for the music, the sound is very good. Indeed it reminds me of Dream Theater (even though I would not say it's really similar). Good sound, good music.
Sadly i'm not a fan of this kind of music. So I won't rate it because if I rate the quality it gets a high one, and if I rate based on personnal interest, it gets a low one. Sorry about that.

Nice job on this one! I think my favorite tracks are "Drempt", "Lucid", "Prolix", "Temporal Distortion", and of course, "The Artist, The Sage, and The Jester".

However, I would say that this album is inconsistent, and at times, it seems the slightest bit unoriginal. But of course, none of that changes the fact that it still rocks.

I'm really looking forward to listening to the rest of your albums.

A personal opinion is exactly that and no more.

I think this album in quality terms is quite similar to "The Dreamer's Paradox" but overall somewhat less consistent. What I mean is that despite liking them all, some of the tracks fall more intensely in my musical preferences. As an example, I simply can't listen to Drempt without repeating it.

Because overall I think the quality is similar, despite my personal likings, I believe this album is as good as "The Dreamers Paradox" album and deserves the same qualification.

Again, an interesting cover.

I fell in love with all varieties of instrumental music long ago. I like this specific album because it forces you to tap to the beat but, at the same time, also gives you a sense of tranquility.

Some of my favorite music, ever, and for free.

I quite enjoy this album - there is a good mix: it goes from a sweet melody to a heavy metalish riff to somewhere in between and back again. The drums are also good. Thanks!
