Paari odottaa starts quite solemnly, a pleasant tune though.

Eksynyt vessaan creates a very unique atmosphere, quite dark. There is a sense of hopelessness to the voice certainly. Nice, serious bass noises emphasize the lack of control in between each phase of the sensation of that necessary mindset. It is curious that I spent years having horrible nightmares that centred around bathrooms, especially ones with either partial or total public access. Five minutes in and the darkness returns along with the familiar whistle of the bladder-shy.

The track continues, still in deep tones and without solid structure, such as a map to escape the unfortunate circumstance of being lost in a bathroom, but the tones are not always dark. Even more they seem to sometimes simply allude to such a depth of shadow. And public toilets don't have the best of reputations generally, I think. There is a sense of patience and sometimes panic, despite such a resolution to the problem. Not an easy listen in places.

Siivooja ajaa starts nicely, almost a symphonia for spring (I guess, the bathroom door was discovered) and release. Then, the tone changes and deepens in a very definite way. There is an atmosphere of malice in one corner, and an unsuspecting victim in another. The piano lightens the mood and ensuing sculpting of sound, which remains calm, until the precious voice comes back. Then all hell breaks loose for a few seconds, to revert to minimalist music and calming voice. Was there an explosive element to this I wonder?

Ja savu nousee has a soundtrack feel to it, old, black and white style. Then it goes crazy with wild noises and vocals. Then it builds back into a great track with horrific vocals, but the instruments prevail. There is an eerie, slightly uncomfortable feel to the piece generally but there are also many facets, so the mind changes constantly. Again, not an easy piece to listen to for the majority of people.

Overall, I enjoyed it for its freedom of expression. I don't see it appealing to a wide audience because it demands quite a lot from the listener that can be bothered to listen, as opposed to just hearing. If it evokes a general feeling it's one of an old style asylum, with blood and gore aplenty.
