This album of piano-based songs is well written and the quality of sound is great and captures the intimacy of the performance. I like how creative the production is, there's synthesizers and strange effects where you would never expect them and it makes the album so much more interesting to listen to overall.

Jana Fisher's voice is beautiful on the lower ranges and nicely in tune, but, like myself, it's having trouble keeping a consistent vocal character on higher notes and becomes a little nasally. It isn't a big problem as I really enjoyed listening to it. My advice would be to relax on the higher notes as her voice when singing softly is extremely powerful sounding in it's own right and could capture anyone's attention. I'm only saying this because it's a beautiful voice and sometimes the high parts sound even better than the low range.

Nice lyrics too. I love music like this.

I wasn't very impressed during the first few songs, to be honest. I thought the compositions were quite average (I shan't say mediocre ;), not bad but nothing that'd stick to my mind either. Your singing sounded a bit uncertain (as in holding yourself back..?) occasionally. Moreover, I was distracted by the vocals being mixed too loud, leaving the music too much to the background.

Still, your music is something i'd like to like. It's open, indie, intimate and above all honest. I can hear you putting a lot of yourself into it, and that has to be respected. So many of us don't have the guts so step into the spotlight with what we've got.

Overall, I don't think this album should arise to greatness, but at the same time i got the feeling that you as an artist some day will. Keep having a good time with your undeniable talent!

Great voice, great playing, and excellent songwriting. There are a few very minor technical glitches here and there, perhaps.. but they in no way can devalue an album this good. It has something rarer and more delightful than perfection going for it. There is the touch of genius, if you listen for it. Especially considering the artist wrote these songs between when she was 14 and 18? Very impressive.

Excellent development of the ideas, nice bits of experimentation and inclusion of creative touches..

10, definitely.
