Simply a superb example of an artist's ability to surprise with each track! Bravo!

If I should describe this album with just few words I would say it interesting, well composed and played. The songs sink their root in the classical progressive rock, but it's easy to find many influences in terms of styles and sounds. All ingredients are well mixed together, and create nice and original atmospheres. Worth listening... possibly more than once.

Well where to start......I have enjoyed listening to this. Would not be my first choice for listening, however my appetite my suitably wetted to enjoy.

I hear some very 80's sounding synths, and layered keyboards with a jazzy flavoured sweet tooth. My favourite track is blatently '' back to syndney'', its got the funk and halfway through the track is a very tasteful solo of the kind you might find on Moonflower by santana.

What I found a little disappointing was the keyboard/drumkit. A tall order i know, but a real drum sound would be much better, and more of the experimental and less of the fromage. All in all,
worth a listen, good playing, and some nice colours to paint with.

Thanks

This album features compositions of both real and electronic instruments, though it's all done on computer. Considering that the quality of the instruments is great and completely listenable, only some of the intricacies of a human performer are lost. The music itself is a nice balance of a lot of different emotions. It is relaxed, yet often progressive and thoughtful. Salmacis is talented at selecting diverse instruments that work well together and producing a very listenable final mix.
