I never heard anything like this neither in free nor in commercial music. What is this? Who is this? It's simply amazing. I don't know how to classify this wonderful intelligently complex and superbly executed music, abstract downtempo perhaps?
Just listen.

Nice Ambient emotional music. Very creatively mixed. Music has lots of sounds which keep it interesting. Nice production, good panning and well eq'ed. Good complex beats. Best cd I have heard on here so far, well done.

An album created in the true spirit that all music should be constructed with, and it shows. A thoroughly fantastic collection of musical creativity that defies even my descriptive abilities. Thanks for sharing your magical expression of music. It was a true pleasure to listen to.

stars of the lid meets Can - a very fine album this touches of Peter Broderick and Aim. Has lots of lovely nuances and echoes I particularly like Rubber as a stand-out track but I can't fault the whole album. If you like this style of music then Williamson's A Few Things.... is definitely the one.

Williamson is music like no one else's! The ONLY music which comes close to this would be Global Communication's rework of Chapterhouse Blood Music: "Pentamorous Metamorphosis". I completely forget myself while listening, and I agree with another reviewer, who found themselves forgetting they were listening to music!

Williamson takes your mind elsewhere while listening, whether doing something else (such as computing) at the time or not. I often put my player in 'repeat mode' and the hours just 'go somewhere' while listening!

I couldn't tell anyone how to classify this material, other than awesome! It seems to defy classification. While there is 'structure' it is not in a 'progressive' or 'themed' sense. The music seems to be more like a sequence of 'tonal poems' which not while 'building' ON each other, don't exist entirely independent OF each other. Am I making any sense? No, I didn't think so either.

Just do yourself a HUGE FAVOR, download this! Listen to it while doing something which demands your attention and monitor your 'progress'. You will get more done than you can imagine, and wonder to yourself where the last 4 hours just went! You will find your mind mysteriously 'cleansed' and you will be 'refreshed' as though you had relaxed for the first time in a very LONG time!

I can't recommend this music highly enough!

Williamson's first release here is maybe one of the most legendary albums I've ever listened to. Words maybe less to describe the beauty of this album. Beautiful music with crisp production. Its difficult to find such a masterpiece as this one commercial or non-commercial music alike. A mandatory listen for everyone!
Go for it people!

Good work indeed! An ambiable shift between indie pop and IDM-alike beats.

I find the lack of structure distracting instead of refreshing. While listening to the album I found myself bothered by the music instead of enjoying it.

There are some nice moments, obviously, but too much unstructured noise for my personal taste.

I'm amazed that this band hasn't been signed to a major label. This music is fresh, beautiful, and artistic. I'm speechless.
