Album description

Changes In Mind is a mini-album released by the Golden Dawn in February 2008 on Jamendo. The band consists of Nick Gent ( vocals,guitars,flutes, Bass and drums) and Ben Skultety ( lead guitars) and Cathy Gent ( lyrics). Changes In Mind was recorded in different rooms in their houses with a simple Pzm microphone to capture a very ''live'' and raw feel which the band felt was important and lacking in so much modern music.

The Golden Dawn with Changes In Mind have created their own unique brand of music, that takes the listener on a voyage through time and space, and is hypnotic, dreamlike and filled with light just like the rising of the sun.

This is nothing like i've heard on jamendo - its the kind of album my dad would introduce me to. I found it through spending too much time in forum and have now written to my dad to tell him to get an account and this album.

mixture of paul simon hamond organ folk psycoldelia 70s? and loads of other stuff i have no idea about so dont sue me on that description ;-)

I dont know if this is a one man production or band but will research after. What it is is nothing like i noramly listen to but a blissful rest from all the electronic garbage i pump through my brain most of the day - the closest i can get is this pile of words here, sorry about that, just try if yerself - its great.

Think Cat Stevens mixed with Jethro Tull. Very nice, warm music. As others have said in these comments, very good musicianship and very good compositions.

This album has been magnificently finished. The artist has put some really nice touches on it. It doesn't sound as if recorded with a 2 decade old microphone! All the songs (especially Moonlight and Let the Sunshine in) are soothing and melodious. Even the album art is awesome!

Great music , great production , a mix of moody blues like acoustic melody with skilled guitar picking and mystic merlin enchanted lyrics, this album deserves to be released on vinyl with full fantasy styled artwork, I can imagine myself listening to this back in my youth when music was much more than just a download.
