Caught straight away, ace track to start with. Clear and concisely created. Relays some of the monontony of hard drug abuse and its intractable claws that dig in. Then, Valium and a Fireplace, nice deep simple sweeps of noise, percussion with obvious clarity, drowsiness. Psy Vampires, what a lovely sound, it whirls into images of aetheric entities drawing your very life-force from you and you know nothing about it. They are all around us and some of them don't even understand what they do the others! Psychosis (Episode One), here I will give in and say that the vocals suit the track perfectly, and I'm a big instrumental fan at the moment! I've been healed!-) And I believe it captures some of the many variable experiences of psychosis. Gurgle Weights has a lovely resonating rhythm to it with ebbing and flowing of a variety of noises, all of which create, along with a synthetic voice (very acceptable:), a fairly easy track to listen to, it's quite nice. Track six, lightens what is a psychologically, potentially heavy load. Psychotics can have good days/moments too! Then, The Electro Magnetic Connection Association, brings back the seriousness. This could be about institutionalisation and its structures and methodologies. Necessary, harsh in places and sometimes they just go on at you relentlessly drumming into you their new model of existence and how we can be 'normal'. Rub a magnet on your head for therapy. The incessant wail of bureaucracy and threat of sectioning. Psychosis (Episode Two), lovely darkness and perfectly pitched presence of lyrics, psychosis as an infernal internal inferno. All This Is Real (I Hope), again a suitably balanced track, I'm seeing the vocals as just another instrument and it manages to capture the unsteadiness of reality some of us feel. Maybe hope is all there is? Then, Decoding Dreams, again something very strongly linked with psychological disturbances, both pathologically and on a personal level as well. Suits the mood, with some nice little touches here and there. The next track, was simply reminiscent of all those nights that I didn't fuckenncare. Psychosis (Recovery) captures the essence of a post-psychotic episode more than any track has before, lyrics 'n' all!-) Nice project, well done.
