i wasn't sure how to rate this

on a scale of the kind of trance i like it is 11 out of 10

on a scale of what I think these guys can do, i'm giving it 8 because, although excellent in every sense, I feel more is yet to come - i hope i'm right - so i'm saving some stars for the sequel :)

This has all the right sounds, textures, and mix for me. Unlike the last reviewer I am glad it doesnt have all the drops and builds like older trance. Because, as good fun as they are, they can be dull when every tune has the same formula - especially in this genre - so this is a fresher approach here.

And apart from that the tunes do have very well crafted breakdowns, which are done with more style than the old fashioned - dropping the bass out and back in method and are thereby much more subtle in the way they move you.

overall - very excellent hard acid trance,

WOW!!

When I go to clubs, this is exactly the sort of thing I expect!

Fast tracks. The track length is big too (all tracks above 7 min). This makes listening calm and rhythmic, especially when you are working (I was making my website). But I think this album is most suitable for late night parties (christmas, birthday celebrations, or disco parties :-P). I listened it twice till now and have downloaded it. When I listened it first time it was on my speakers. My mother usually gets disturbed with such genre's. Therefore I had to put my headphones on, the second time. I discovered some startling facts. The bass and the 'thumps' are much stronger on speakers whilst they become almost null on headphones. Anyways, the panning work is more audible on headphones (obviously :-P).

9/10

These tracks have lots of energy and ideas. Great hi hats, fun energetic synth sounds too. Loads going on and lots put into each track.

Only thing I can say I'm not keen on is that I believe there should a few more longer breakdowns where the drums completely die away and then big build up and huge beat drop. Dancefloors love that sort of thing, it gives them a rest, sounds great when the beat starts. That might be more my own preference though as I used to listen to tracks by musicians like Nick Sentience, BK and Andy Farley which your tracks to my ears share some similarities in overall sound with.

But a brilliant overall sound and nice production skills :-)
