Ich! vorsicht! sounds like a well-assembled model of the electronic manner. An excellent starter for an album, with some fantastic sound manipulation. The atmosphere is enriched with the onset of Elektrische ritter. Again, the form is built strongly and filled admirably well. Incorporating fluctuations with ease, confident in its gait and not afraid to stretch itself comfortably. There is quite an expanse to the clarity of the musical configurations. Dort oben is an outstanding track, though demure with it. Adds to the appeal, of which there is much. There is a wonderful start to Noir, that settles into quiet minimalism, that supports an exponential success. Lovely stuff, with chips of excellence added to the mix.
Mechanism seems to form the basis of Phob, and this is then structured artfully and delicately. I catch glimpses of distant echoes, or so it seems. Ending up more organically interesting despite the integrated machinations, which it continues in an open-ended reprise. Gast 2 comes over more strongly, though far from forcing itself upon this listener, gains airtime because it is enjoyable with a nice sprinkling of what appears to be originality. Quite spacious, to the degree where it seems a bit disjointed, it still manages to hang on. Next there comes 108 min. Distorted and retorted, then one single thread pulls it all neatly together. As it plays on, it fills out and proves to be another strong track.
Sonne, a well-crafted play with voices, then formalised with a fairly powerful rhythmical layer. The track continues in a haunting manner. Then, the album is rounded up with a couple of reflections from the beginning of the tracklist. Being good tracks in the first place, to my mind, means that little can go wrong, and the remixes prove the point by increasing the extent of the energy, rather than just its strength. Such fine-tuning is accomplished with panache, which is the way it should be. The final remix focuses on technical flurries, as well as vocalisms, and is nonetheless impressive. Overall, an excellent album, it seems with a nice tang of uniqueness.
