I recommend using more variable/randomly chosen notes and stretching them a lot (playing one note longer) to create a more 'lost' or 'endless' feeling. also there is this specific sound which sounds like stars shining, some kind of 'pling' which you could make use of. Sorry for not being specific. no idea how to describe.
