I think this is a wonderful EP. There are a lot of influences to be heard, and in most cases merged seamlessly in a coherent whole. I can hear some psychedelic influences, but "Deconstructing Fidel" links back to the minimalism experiments of the first works of Steve Reich, such as "It's gonna rain" or "Come out". Other songs have a 70's Santana's kind of folk-rock feeling, and I can hear some post-rock here as well, and even some jazz.
I love the way you use the vocal samples to create rhythmic patterns much like Steve Reich, specially in "Deconstructing Fidel". and "R.I Police".
It is clear to me that you are trying to find new ways of expressing music, congratulations.
