Lounge Café Tunis "Intellectuel"

I can't get over how good this guy's work is. Interesting, unique, great listening, exotic - takes you on a world trip. The album is artistic, nicely composed, I was instantly captured and intrigued when I heard the very first song of his I happened upon. Ben OThman is a great artist and has put a whole lot of heart into this album. Once I get over this initial listen, done with whole hearted interest and amazement, I shall find this music relaxing as a whole. It has its own energizing factors with the upbeat tempos and fast moving rhythms such as in "Hamammet" which had an extra layer of calm (the flute) and the cool, distant vocals (mostly oriental) which appear in many of the songs as part of the ambient tonality. Finding these albums, for me, is like getting a brand new toy (let's say a virtual reality game of glorious detail and wild adventure) I just cannot put it down. I am excited to find that he has a couple of other albums I have not yet heard. Yay….
