Great album! I particularly enjoyed Where does the Garbage go?, River, Good Friends won't Rip you Off, and Gold Fever. Smart lyrics, catchy tunes, and a good dose of heart.

For a 2 some theres folks do a great job of creating clean listenable music, remind me of a Canadian couple from wayback called Fraiser and Debolt

A very good indie, rock, folk album, with very catchy tracks, with interesting and humouris lyrics to match. Both singers sound, like they would be good,in a live concert as well.

I really like this album. The Wind Whistles has a light, poppy sound, reminiscent of the Kimya Dawson songs from Juno in which she sings along with other folks. Each of the songs has a good melody, and as I skipped from one to the next, I found myself saying "Oh yeah, I like this track too!" with nearly every song. This whole album will definitely enter my music rotation/collection.

In particular, "Gold Fever" works really well, leading off the album with a defining sound that appears in nearly every song, but with variations. The dark songs like "Devil's Cauldron" are moody and atmospheric, while the light ones--particularly the Belle and Sebastian-like "Ballad of a Jailbreak wedding"--are just lovely to listen to. I'm not as keen on the slower songs, like "River," and the feedback/distortion in "Where does the Garbage go?" turns me off. My favorite song is " Good Friends won't Rip you Off," a song that gets in your head and gets you out there to tell others about the album.

Rating: Worth downloading the whole album.

A great album. Ok, a bland statement for an album that is far from bland. But it's simply great music. Great melodies and great songwriting. Songs on this album could easily be in the next big US TV show in the way that so many such as The OC and Ugly Betty made stars of the likes of Snow Patrol and The Subways.

This is a great combination of lyrics and instrumentation. Jim & Ruth is a great song and the rest of the album follows suit. I can't wait for the next release!

This album is stunning! Song after song leaps out and demands to be listened to. I love it!

Neil Young meets the Decemberists meets Angus and Julia Stone! Awesome. You guys should be so proud of yourselves for producing such a fantatsic debut. Bravo!

I must say that I like this album, it has a good feel to it. And bonus points for picking a good first track, because for some reason I ignore an album if the first track isn't very good.
