Description

I   know,  I  know,  it's   not   a  masterpiece.  It  was  my  first   (and last)   attempt   to become   a professional singer. There were other better tracks  I  recorded  that  unfortunately went  lost in the  labyrinth  o f time.  My singing technique  wasn't  that perfect in that period, I have to admit.,  but  it  got  a  little bit better afterwards. I apologize in advance for the bad sound quality, it was    an  mp3 digitally recorded  from a cassette  recording, which was  taken from the original tape. Well,  more  or  less  you  understood  what  I  meant ...

Notice:  phonicboom  and  marac  are not allowed to review this  poor song of mine!

No, just joking, write what you want, I am strong enough!

OK, so it's not really my thing but the singing is, in my opinion, quite good and the tune is totally decent.

That's the sort of thing that should be winning Sanremo not the crap that gets in there.

Overall an excellent result for a non professional recording - a standard track but very very solid. Shame no record company picked it up.

Well... Niiiiiiceeeee...

And now seriously.

6/10 is a rating of a song as a whole. And contrary to what you probably expect, I consider your singing to be the highlight of this tune. I mean the instrumental part sounds far more amateurish (probably because of poor recording - I don't say they can't play). Of course your voice can't be compared with Freddie Mercury, Bruce Dickinson or Mike Patton, but you sing in tune, your voice has a pleasant timbre, it is quite strong, you know how to express emotions - well done, really. I'd say it's comparable with an average professional rock singer. I'd give 8/10 for a vocal part.

The vocal line is very good (I don't know if you composed it or did you only put different words), the melody is fine. It's of course a standard classic rock ballad, but quite a good one. The only thing that lowers the rating and stops me from staring, downloading and listening to this tune for fun is poor recording. The drums are particularly awful... Yuck!

So I'd love to see this tune re-recorded professionally - of course with you on vocals (plus maybe occasional backing vocals by Kanga ;-) ).

To summarize - it's a real pity you rejected the rock star career. We probably lost many rock anthems. Poor us. But what's even worse, you missed sex with groupies, no personal life and coccaine addiction. Poor you.

Oh my god! When I clicked "play" button, my speakers turned into a door...towards heaven! The background score starts off so sweetly, that it gives a brief summary about how the whole track would sound like. After a few seconds of music, there is an "enthusiastic" entry of a talented "undiscovered" singer => my very own "Stefano" :-D! It's a big surprise. I have seen reviewer's writing "he can sing as well", and that's sad to read. You seem like an professional singer, though you require a "tiny" amount of practice more. Your vocals are marvellous. The recording quality is A+. I want you to re-write the album description! It's spreading wrong information to the readers about your voice and the recording. Mate, you can give tough competition to "Ricky Martin" (though in Italian, till now!). Overall, you vocals mixes perfectly with the music and they both together bring out a great album for the listeners to listen to. One last word: I want you to return to your singing and bring out a longer album. 5 minutes is not enough to display your "hidden" talent.

I was not sure what to expect, especially after Stesepu's down playing of his obvious talent as a singer, brillant voice, sang with emotion and blew me away.
I truly wish there were more tracks to listen to.
I'm assuming the album art work is a self portrait, if so, your not looking well, a bit weary.
Seriously an excellent piece of work. well done

this guy, whoever he is, can certainly sing!

ok there may be imperfections that the artist would hear and a keen listener - but that is what studios remove and considering that this is not a professional production, it is excellent.

it reminded me from start to finish of the scorpions (now i wonder if i got the name of the band right - but i know who i'm thinking of)

very good, and yes 7 = good album.

release an album full of these tracks i'll upgrade you - for now that's all i'm giving.
