Not only is this album a melodic one, it also feels "whole." To describe the sound of the work in one word, I would say it's smoky. But the important part is that this sounds good.
The dark atmosphere may not be for everyone, as this album is perhaps closer to mainstream melancholic pop than anything else I've listened to here. Unlike radio plays, this album has a very solid hands-on feeling to it. Not a hint of being over-produced, the album doesn't sound clinical - it just sounds real.
Also, if this isn't like Kemopetrol, then nothing is. Certainly a very good album.
