Album description

A collection of songs unified by a strong voice and a synth track layered underneath.  The title track, "Frankie Machine (the suicide king)", is inspired by Nelson Algren's classic novel "The Man With The Golden Arm".  "Hypochristian", "Same Old Same Old", and "Let It Burn"  are well written social and plitical commentary on our times.  "I Want To Make You Happy", "Mary Jane", "Truth I Can't Deny", and "Live and Learn" are love songs of varying nature.   It was originally released in 2005 and available online via luketan.com

The production is clear and clean as are the vocal tracks.

If you're looking for fancy this isn't it.

If you like good coffeehouse folk artists with strong lyrics, this is the album for you.

I listened to all three albums [or parts thereof] and I must say, it's wonderful to see such hard work and improvement over the course of these albums:D
