"A full length album from Alfonso Tregua to follow up his recent e-Single of the Month. Here he stretches out with a minimal palette of electronic and acoustic sounds playing simple, haunting melodies until the sounds themselves begin to truly sing"

A surprisingly dark start to the first track, inferring perhaps the darkness of our primordial past? Then A.T. starts to speak his piece/peace, sounds very like the coming of the alien he would be in the Stone Age. Then, the drumming starts, the pounding and rattling of a hairy mammals bones on resounding rocks of their cave dwellings. A.T. gets in a few words in, through the cacophony, then he begins to respond more obviously. Almost like his pleading is in vain, as they go on. The rhythm they eventually find stuns them into silence, immersing the listener back into the darkness of that aeon of human existence. The next track, The Contrary Motion Blues, has a lovely twang to it, minimalist blues, cool!-) Almost sounds backwards in places, with a curious chorus of noises. Two Flutes, is sharp and clear and compact. Loved the resonation in the background. Followed by, A Tangle Of Fast Waves, which is what it quickly becomes and slowly it finds it's feet, only to slip back into its own confusion. But wait, there is structure within the chaos after all! Then, Hidden Beauty unfolds into our ears, placid, smooth, techno-gossip in the background. Has the quality of an accordian's droning notes. Minimalist busking! Lastly, the title track, imagine your about six months old and strapped into those bouncing chairs, and over-arching your sitting position, there's lots of noisy toys hanging before you. Then imagine a child haphazardly playing with those musical toys. Child-busking!-) I quite liked this overall, but I am very broad-minded about musical expression and I could imagine some listeners not having the patience to fully comprehend the simplistic structures, but if that is the case, just look at the album title... what would you expect?
