Is it just me or is anyone else impressed that he pulled this off in a live setting? i imagine that would have been a really fucked up show. it's definitely something you would want to take acid before going to. you would have a heart attack. for that reason alone, i am giving this high marks. on the whole it kind of reminds me of aphex twin in that it's something that i can't really see people getting down to, but standing there on the dance floor, staring up and attempting to nod their heads to the shifting rhythms but not really quite getting it. in fact, it almost seems like the longer it goes on, the weirder it gets, which i actually dig.
