"That Down-Home Astral Sound" is a six track E.P of early Bathtub Sophist tracks & lost demos. It features an eclectic mix of reggae groove, space/synth instrumental, world beat & intelligent grind from an improvised and ingenious approach. The music is the result of early experiments in home recording. Highlights include the sweet, Caribbean flavored instrumental “Jah Playground” and the one-take, improvised guitar composition “Space Junk”.
"Something quite different, but enjoyable. If you are a fan of electronic/alternative music, there is surely something here you will enjoy. If this genre is new to you, it may prove an interesting introduction"
