Album description

a bit more on the progressive side of songwriting compared to engulfed...melodic death metal/core in the vein of...well, i don't even know...i wasn't really inspired by anyone this time around, it just kind of came out naturally

just to clear up some confusion, these songs WERE written with vocals in mind...many reviews have said that it is too boring and monotonous to sit through, and i understand that, but i'm not jt bruce...i don't write stuff that isn't intended for a full band...i list my albums as instrumental because, technically, they ARE when they don't have any vocals...however, a fellow jamendo artist has offered up his talents and has started working on vocal tracks for these and other songs, so you may see a new version of this EP in the future...until then, keep in mind what these tracks were written for, and that they in no way reflect finished versions of songs

Keep doing what you're doing while these goons sip their hate-arade. No vocals is a good thing. Look around this site, most of the vocals suck.

Regardless of how repetitive or whatever everyone else called it (I haven't read any other reviews) I think this album is great as an instrumental but I would LOVE to hear some vocals :D Either way, very great, full of energy album! Congrats!

After a long break, I finally returned to this EP to see whether my 2/5 rating was justified.

I can now see better the compositional finesse of this release, but I still think that the lack of vocals is something that heavily weights it down. It has too much empty space. You don't get the impression that it's instru-metal; instead, you feel like it's a regular metal EP someone forgot to mix vocals in.

I will improve the rating, however not higher than 2.5/5 because of the nonfulfillment of it all. Hope you find a vocalist soon.

I listened to this album. Once. It just didn't appeal to me. I'm not saying there's no talent here, this is just, well, boring.

From the first riff to the end a blast of energetic power. Great production/sound. The songs themselves are not really my taste though, I rather like some polished mainstream pop approach on song structures I guess. No vocals.
