I think here the experimentation has already been done and this comes over as a confident result of those efforts. I may be wrong. Anyway, as far as this as a collection of music, apart from the above declaration of cohesiveness, there is a lot to offer (so there, I agree) and this feels like the beginning of a fruitful journey. What has been assembled here in particularly interesting because it covers 'dark' without necessarily resorting to 'dark' notes, and simply relying on that. So, that's a curious achievement in itself. And strangely enough, it's like being in one of those old curiousity shops, there's a lot of lovely, little things to peruse. There is a load of good stuff and something for everyone.
