Ce premier album, réalisé dans l’urgence, dans le souci «  de conclure un cycle, d’expulser au plus vite, de trouver le sens à un désarroi “  ( c’est présent et palpable dans chacun des 12 titres ) mérite toute notre attention ;

Quelle surprise! C'est Francais!-) Nice atmosphere to this francophile pop. Little Boy stood out for a relevance to the attitude of my teachers, who seemed to get their training from the US military. En désertion seems to have something to say, also relevant to my education. La Descente as well, with its sonorous timbre resounds historically, to a point where I find myself wondering about the quality of things rather than the quantity. Why am I here? Struggling with my meagre linguistic capabilities that seem far outstripped by my European friends. Some people say little, because they have not the wit, other than to guess at things and go with the rest of the he(a)rd, like a lamb to the slaughter.

John Merrick is a beautiful track for a tortured soul, a fitting tribute. All in all, I find it so far quite a relaxing album, nice to sit back to and let it flow into my subconsciousness, judging primarily by intuition and trusting in OD's recommendation, a faultless artist in his own right. Je m'appelle Ivan. Ca va? There is a lovely resonance and texture to Comme un Coma, very profound. Entroyable, re: my reference to sheep. The majority are in a sort of comatose state as they wander aimlessly through their lives, full of excuses and pitiful platitudes.

Oh, Cocobango ups the tempo and is almost worth un petit danse. Good fun! Les Papillons, suitably delicate and lightly flitting from synapse to synapse. My French teacher was called M.Bland, and he made it so and the last female to make a pass at me was Nadine from the south. Always going on about inheriting her grandmama's complete collection of Zola, of which I've read a few, though I am not sure that I prefer Balzac. Germinal was a fantastic read it has to be said, along with Mme.Raquin. As the tracks unfold so beautifully, I wonder if it has been listened to at all. Dans ma tête, shares its vocals in a wonderful counterpoint. Wonderfully relaxing for my own busy head.

Vénissieux 76, c'est poesie profound. A year of magnificent importance to my life, full of death on a personal level, both literally, and metaphysically. Is it dialectical, I cannot tell, but there is a profound accumulation of passion inherent in its construction and text. Quelle pour vous en Vènissiœx en 76? Le petit bagnard finishes off a nicely mixed, predominantly vocal album with some lovely instrumentalism, et excusez moi, mon Francias est petit mal!-) Tres bon!
