Killer Electro/punk

This is a great album. Good hooks, great skill, excellent vocal work. The synth-lines feel like a part of the music and not something that was just added on as an after though.

My favorite track is Madame Olga, it has great movement and excellent composition to back the strong songwriting.

A great contribution from a great band.

fantastic and crazy stuff

Und wieder mal eine Band aus Frankreich. Der Name Madame Olga verspricht vielleicht etwas eine weibliche Frontfrau, aber nein, hier hat man es mit 4 Franzosen der Gattung Mann zu tun. Musikalisch hat man sich für alternativen Nu Metal entschieden und weiß diesen gekonnt mit einer wohl abgestimmten Brise Wahnsinn abzurunden. Von der Art (optisch) erinnern mich die Jungs etwas an eine Mischung aus Fanta4 und Guano Apes und auch musikalisch kommt dieser verrückte Charakter zum tragen. Man weiß meist durch kraftvolle Riffs zu überzeugen, weiß aber, wie man Gefühl in ruhigere Parts einfließen läst. Sie haben auch irgendwie einen typischen französischen Touch, was aber denke ich mal hauptsächlich über den Gesang in die Songs einfließt. Ein äußerst kreativer Vertreter der Nu Metal Bewegung mit einem ordentlichen Schuß alternativeren Rock.

Cool. Listenable punk. My kind of thing.

Angry french lyrics articulating inarticulate rage against the world at large, and the world at large will happily nod their heads with the beat.

Actually, Les Boulots wasn't an angry shout track like the other tracks. Dunno if that makes it punk any more. Maybe it is, in the same way that Golden Brown by the Stranglers is called punk. Who knows. Who cares ? Is anyone bothered that much about musical labels (or record labels) in the p2p world?
