Seize Them! really seem to exemplify what's great in New York City rock right now. They're eclectic yet coherent, poppy without being trite, post-irony but not pretentious, and, over all, a rocking good band with songs you'll hear in your head for days.
The best track on this EP is probably "Shimmery", but "Hey, Golden" really gets to me and "Drinking Song" is tons of fun.
They play out in NYC about once a month and I highly recommend you go catch a show if you're in the area.
